Our safety frame line (Heat Wave Z87, Wiley X, Smith Elite, Spy ANSI, Oakley Standard Issue, Wye/Delta) meets or exceeds ANSI Z87.1-2020 impact and optical requirements where marked Z87+ on frame and lens. Oakley Meta and other consumer-grade smart frames are not Z87-rated, check the product specs for each model.

Impact-rated polycarbonate lenses with 100% UVA/UVB protection across the safety line. Look for the Z87+ mark on the frame and lens to confirm the ANSI rating. Anti-fog, polarized, and mirror options vary by model. Fit runs unisex, medium to large.

Prescription lenses are custom-made and cannot be restocked. If the prescription is wrong or the fit fails on a corporate Rx order, we remake it through the program process.
Z87 and Z87+ are not the same rating.
ANSI Z87.1 sets two tiers. The plus is earned in two extra tests. This is what they look like.
This frame carries the basic impact rating. It is not rated for the high-velocity or high-mass tests. See Z87+ frames
