Wiley X Captivate
The color a dark tint quietly throws away.
Captivate is Wiley X's premium lens technology, polarized or not, engineered to manage light for sharper contrast, truer color, and clean optical clarity.
Why it matters
A flat tint dims everything. Captivate manages the light.
Captivate is engineered to precisely manage light for enhanced color, sharper contrast, and superior optical clarity. Paired with certified impact protection and proven durability, it is a lens you can trust to perform in any environment, from the water to the range to the job.

Left is a flat dark tint. Right is the same scene treated like a Captivate view: cleaner color separation, sharper contrast, less glare off the water. It shows the idea, not a lab capture.
How it works

Quick answers
Before you pick a lens.
Is Captivate the same as polarized?
No. Captivate is Wiley X's color and contrast lens technology, and it comes in both polarized and non-polarized options. The polarized version adds glare reduction for water, road, and snow on top of the color and contrast.
Does Captivate come in a Z87 safety lens?
Yes. Wiley X builds Captivate into frames that meet ANSI Z87.1+ impact and optical standards, so you get the lens technology and the safety rating a shop, range, or job site needs.
Grey base or copper base?
Grey base for true-to-life color in bright, steady sun. Copper base for more contrast and depth in mixed or changing light. Mirror finishes and a polarized option layer on top of either base.
Can I get Captivate in my prescription?
Yes. Captivate color-enhancing technology is available through the Wiley X prescription program, including polarized, with some of the highest Rx ranges in the industry for wrapped frames.
Is CHAOSRXOptics an authorized dealer?
Yes. We sell genuine Wiley X eyewear, with free US shipping on every order.
