At a few hundred employees the hard part is not the glasses, it is the roster. Eligibility is set by employee list or by site-manager approval, so the program knows who is covered before anyone orders, and an order from someone outside the rules holds for a decision instead of shipping.
Prescription Safety Eyewear Programs for Companies With Several Hundred Employees
Safety eyewear programs for larger employers
Z87.1 prescription safety eyewear. For companies with several hundred employees.
A managed program for employers with 200 to several thousand people across more than one site: one company ordering page, roster-based eligibility, prescription handling, employer-set rules, one monthly invoice, and reporting by site.
Employer programs since 2017. See our program track record.

Tell us who you outfit. If you know your headcount, sites, and how many people wear prescription lenses, include them in the optional message. We follow up to discuss approved frames, eligibility, fitting and billing.
What changes when a company has several hundred employees
The eyewear is the same. The roster, the approvals and the billing are what a larger employer needs handled.
CHAOSRXOptics (chaosrxoptics.com) is part of CHAOS Supplies in Phoenix, Arizona and provides ANSI Z87.1 prescription and non-prescription safety eyewear to companies with several hundred to several thousand employees through a managed employer program. Each company gets a private ordering page, an approved frame list, prescription handling through our lab, employer-set contribution rules, and one monthly invoice, with orders shipped to the employee's home or to the shop, plant, office or job site. The program has outfitted more than 10,000 technicians across 1,200+ locations in 39 states since 2017, and 7,542 prescription pairs have been filled through it. Portals run in English and Spanish.
Multi-site companies order from one company page per employer, not one per plant. First shift, second shift and a second state do not need three purchase orders, and participation reports come back by site.
Prescription wearers are where large PPE programs fail. Over-the-glasses covers come off because they fog, slip or pinch. A prescription-integrated Z87-2 frame removes the reason to take them off, and the employee submits a current prescription from any eye doctor with the order.
Exceptions go to your safety specialist, not to us. An order outside the allowance, a second pair inside the replacement window or an employee ID that is not on the list routes to the person you name, who approves or declines it by email.
Billing is one monthly invoice to the company, with Net terms available, or payment at checkout as each order is placed. The employer sets the contribution level; employees pay only the difference for upgrades, if any.
A managed program
How the program works
One company page, roster-based eligibility, an approved frame list, prescription handling, and fulfillment to wherever your people work.
-
01
Each company gets a private ordering page with an approved list of ANSI Z87.1 rated frames: impact-rated Z87+ non-prescription frames and Z87-2+ prescription frames, including sealed Wiley X frames where the work calls for them.
-
02
Eligibility is loaded by employee list, by site, or by manager approval. Employees order directly from a phone in about two minutes; nobody at the company keys orders.
-
03
Prescription orders are handled end to end: the employee submits a current prescription with the order, our lab cuts the impact-rated lenses, and side shields are added where required.
-
04
The employer chooses how it pays: one monthly invoice to the company, with Net terms available, or payment at checkout. The employer sets the contribution level, the replacement window and what counts as an exception.
-
05
Orders ship to the employee's home or to an office, shop, plant or job site, whichever the employer chooses. Order status is available by text message.
-
06
When an employee becomes eligible for a new pair, the program notifies them automatically.
-
07
Fitting does not need an appointment. Virtual try-on on the ordering page measures the face from any phone and shows which frames fit. Sites near Phoenix, Arizona can also book on-site Sit and Fit events; live virtual fittings are available elsewhere.
-
08
Participation reporting by site for your safety file: who has ordered, which frames, and when each order shipped. Eligibility rules stay yours; the program applies them.
-
09
Purchase-as-needed. No upfront inventory, no minimum commitment to start, and a program for 300 people runs on the same system as one for 3,000.

What we claim, and what we do not.
The marks, the scope and the limits, stated plainly.
Eyewear is imported (not made in the USA).
ANSI Z87.1 applies to products that state it on the product page. Z87+ is the high-impact mark on non-prescription eyewear; Z87-2+ identifies an impact-rated prescription frame. A frame or lens marking alone does not establish suitability for every hazard.
OSHA does not approve products. The accurate statement, and the one we use, is that the eyewear meets ANSI Z87.1, the standard OSHA references in 29 CFR 1910.133.
Anti-fog coating is standard on select non-prescription stock lenses; on prescription orders it is an optional add-on.
Pricing, allowances and replacement windows are set per program in writing and are not published here.
We do not make medical or vision-correction efficacy claims.

ProAmpac signed in September 2026.
A ProAmpac plant in the Northeast found this program through search, reviewed a bilingual ordering portal built for them in four days, and signed an employer-billed program covering prescription and non-prescription safety eyewear for its employees. Orders outside the plant's rules route to its safety specialist for a decision by email.
