The flagship Z87+ frame from Heat Wave Visual. Aggressive, futuristic silhouette with 2mm polycarbonate lenses, built-in side shields, and Hytrel® rubber touch points on the nose and arms that grip and stay put through a full shift.
Available in black frame or the vapor clear frame — the transparent option — with your choice of clear, photochromic, anti-fog clear, or hi-vis yellow lens. The photochromic transitions from clear to tinted in under 30 seconds. The anti-fog clear is built for indoor shop work. The hi-vis yellow opens up low-light visibility on the floor.
Every variant meets Z87+ out of the box. The safety mark is on the frame.

Oakley Meta and other consumer-grade smart frames are not Z87-rated, check the product specs for each model.

Impact-rated polycarbonate lenses with 100% UVA/UVB protection across the safety line. Look for the Z87+ mark on the frame and lens to confirm the ANSI rating. Anti-fog, polarized, and mirror options vary by model. Fit runs unisex, medium to large.

Prescription lenses are custom-made and cannot be restocked. If the prescription is wrong or the fit fails on a corporate Rx order, we remake it through the program process.
Z87 and Z87+ are not the same rating.
ANSI Z87.1 sets two tiers. The plus is earned in two extra tests. This is what they look like.
This frame carries the basic impact rating. It is not rated for the high-velocity or high-mass tests. See Z87+ frames
